Message decoding, conversation editing and backup imports run in your browser. Entered messages and backup files are not uploaded to this site's server.

Local records and drafts

Decoding automatically saves recent readings and, when selected, links them to a conversation. Conversation titles, messages, facts, assumptions and reply drafts are saved when you choose Save conversation. Importing a backup also saves a new copy. Boundary plans are saved separately. Boundary drafts and the selected conversation use this tab's session storage and may be lost when the tab closes.

Backups, migration and deletion

Private JSON backups can contain original messages, notes, reply drafts, related readings and boundary plans. Keep them private. Import and export share a 1 MB limit and support older conversation backups. Deleting a conversation removes related records and matching archived copies. Clearing readings does not delete conversations or boundary plans. Changed records from an older tab may be retained with a warning. Clearing all browser data for this site removes local site records, but not downloaded backups. Older archives can be downloaded or removed separately; an archive download is not a conversation backup and cannot be imported through conversation recovery.

Site visits and analytics

Visiting this site requests pages and resources from its hosting service, which may process access metadata such as IP addresses and request URLs. Local processing does not mean there are no network requests.

Message decoder and conversation workspace pages do not load Google Analytics. Other content pages load Google Analytics only when a measurement ID is configured. It may use cookies and send page visits and interaction metadata to Google. Our explicit analytics events exclude messages and notes. Analytics page URLs use canonical addresses without query strings or fragments, and the referrer is omitted. Without a configured ID this service is not loaded.

Sharing

Copying results or downloading a file does not send it to another person. Recipients can see anything you choose to share. Current pages have no advertising placeholders and do not automatically send messages.
